# Kensacheck

Kensacheck is an independent Australian service that lets a buyer see the original Japanese
auction record for an imported car before they pay for it. You enter a Japanese chassis (frame)
number or an Australian VIN, and Kensacheck retrieves the vehicle's auction sheet — the real
grade, the recorded odometer reading, the inspector's damage map and their handwritten comments —
and, for cars already in Australia, pairs it with the government registers.

## Who runs it

Kensacheck is a service of Monkey Digital Media Pty Ltd (ABN 62 648 621 336), a registered
Australian company based in Fairy Meadow, New South Wales. It was built by a team with five
years' experience running a Japanese vehicle export business and buying at the Japanese auctions.
Kensacheck is independent: it does not sell cars, broker imports, or take referral fees.

## What it checks

Every report draws on two sources:
- The Japanese auction record (auction sheet, grade, odometer, damage, inspector comments).
- The Australian registers: PPSR (money owing, stolen, written-off) and NEVDIS.

## What a report contains

Vehicle identity (make, model, year, chassis), the auction grade and interior grade, the
odometer reading at sale, the full damage map, the translated inspector's comments, an odometer
cross-check against the figure a seller quotes, and — where included — the Australian PPSR and
NEVDIS results. Every report has a unique verification code that anyone can confirm.
